Growing up in Pittsburgh the arena of industry was all around him and by his late teens an abiding interest in railroads was the catalyst that brought him to buy his 1st camera. Jimwent on to receive a Masters Degree Design and Visual Communications from Southern Illinois University. He then went back to his hometown and commenced his career at Pittsburgh’s largest and most busy photography studio and later was staff photographer for Bechtel Company on an overseas project for Two years in Saudi. With his accumulated experience his studio has been serving Corporate and Business clientele throughout the United States by providing excellent images of their workers, items and facilities. JIM CUNNINGHAM’s work has brought him into coal mines, steel mills, railroad yards and lots of industrial mills as well as medical centers and company headquarters across the United States and globally. He has hung out from helicopters, Crawled around in a 38 in. coal mine and lifted up Two hundred ft. in a crane bucket to get that exact point of view.
