Corporate Industrial Photographer Erie PA

The most significant advantage of being a commercial photographer is that you follow a subject after your own heart, do lots and lots of research on the field and enter into this field in a professional way. Plus you get to make a good deal. Industrial photography is a very lucrative, well paid job. If you are smart in your job and happen to meet the right folks and get the right projects, you can finish up with a decent living.
Most firms use company photography for promoting leaflets to give to current or prospective clients, or to hand out at job interviews or at hiring events. In these examples, the company or corporation should be portrayed in the absolute best way. Many people recognise stock photographs, and they’re viewed in design and layout circles as grey and uninspired selections. Firms come across as current and progressive-thinking when they use fresh, unique pictures in their promoting literature and pamphlets.

JIM CUNNINGHAM has been offering distinctive location photography to his clientele for over twenty years.
Being raised in Pittsburgh, PA the arena of industry was all around him and by his late teens a healthy interest in railroads was the catalyst that made him acquire his first camera. JIM CUNNINGHAM went on to get a degree in Design and Visual Communications from Southern Illinois University. He then went back to his home and begun his career at Pittsburgh’s largest and busiest photographic studio and went on to become staff photographer for Bechtel Company on an overseas project for 2 years in Saudi Arabia. With his accumulated knowledge his studio has been serving Corporate and Industrial clients throughout the United States by providing distinct images of their employees, products and facilities. Jim’s work has taken him into coal mines, steel mills, railroad yards and dozens of processing factories as well as medical facilities and company headquarters throughout the US and worldwide. He has hung out from helicopters, spalunked around in a 38 inch coal mine and been raised up Two hundred ft. in a crane bucket to get that special point of view.
“I love the challenge of going into a situation and making something interesting out of what is seemingly something uninteresting. I think the reason I enjoy [minor] photography so much is also because of all the interesting new worlds it has opened up to me. I wouldn’t trade the people I have met and the places I’ve been to because of it for anything.” Jim Cunningham
