The biggest advantage of being a commercial cameraman is that you follow a subject after your own heart, do a lot of research on the field and enter into this work in a pro way. Plus you get to make a lot. Corporate Industrial photography is a very profitable, well paid profession. If you are great in your work and try to meet the right people and get the right opportunities, you can end up with a decent living.
Most organizations use company photography for selling advertisements to show to current or prospective customers, or to give out at job interviews or at recruiting events. In these examples, the company or establishment should be portrayed in the very best angle. Many individuals know stock images, and they’re depicted in design and layout circles as grey and unimaginative images. Firms come across as new and forward-thinking when they use brilliant, original photographs in their marketing literature and campaigns.

“I enjoy the challenge of going into a situation and making something interesting out of what is seemingly something uninteresting. I think the reason I enjoy [minor] photography so much is also because of all the interesting new worlds it has opened up to me. I would not trade the folks I have met and the placesI have been to because of it for anything.” JIM CUNNINGHAM
