JIM CUNNINGHAM has been providing distinctive location photography to his clients for over two decades.
Being raised in Pittsburgh, PA the arena of industry was always around him and by his late teens a deep interest in railroads was the spark that led him to acquire his 1st camera. Jimwent on to acquire a degree in Design and Visual Communications from Southern Illinois University. He then went back to his home and started his career at Pittsburgh’s most significant and most busy studio and later was staff photographer for Bechtel Corporation on an overseas assignment for 2 years in Saudi. With his collected background experience his studio has been serving Corporate and Business customers throughout the United States by providing distinct images of their people, merchandise and buildings. JIM CUNNINGHAM’s work has taken him into coal mines, steel mills, railway yards and countless manufacturing factories as well as hospital centers and corporate headquarters across the US and globally. He has hung out from ‘copters, Crawled around through a 38 inch coal mine and gone up 2 hundred ft. in a crane bucket to get that defining point of view.
