Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA the world of industry was all around him and by his late teens an abiding interest in railroads was the spark that caused him to purchase his first camera. Jim Cunninghamwent on to acquire a degree in Design and Visual Communications from Southern Illinois University. He then came back to his home and began his career at Pittsburgh’s largest and busiest studio and went on to become staff photographer for Bechtel Company on an abroad job for 2 years in Saudi. With his amassed knowledge his studio has been serving Corporate and Economic clients in the US by providing outstanding images of their people, products and facilities. Jim Cunningham’s work has brought him into coal mines, steel mills, railway depots and lots of manufacturing factories as well as hospital centers and corporate headquarters across the United States and across the planet. He has hung out of helicopters, Crawled around in aThirty-eight in. coal mine and been raised up Two hundred ft in a crane bucket to get that special angle of view.
